Today's weather;
An almost perfect blue sky rules over Koh Samui this morning with a current temp at 7am of 25.7C.
Also a delayed update this morning since we had a power cut in our neck of the woods until just a moment ago.
Yesterday saw a warm and sunny day around the island. Max temp reached 33.5C
The forecast sees the wind increasing in strength, starting from Friday, with a top at this moment for next Tuesday. The skies should still be sunny though.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily climate update; 11th June, 2012
Today's weather;
Koh Samui is nice and sunny. Current temp at 7am is 26.5C.
Yesterday saw a nice and warm around Koh Samui with a max temp of 31.3C
The forecast looks good for Samui, the wind has diminished a lot and sunny skies lay ahead for next week.
At Mainland Suratthani, Prasang is got flash flood now. The Water is come from Krabi, but now the level is get low.
The water is going to the gulf of Thailand. So it would be back to normal in a few day.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 9th June, 2012
Today's weather;
Koh Samui has a nice and sunny sky again! Things are on the up again weatherwise.
Current temp at 7am is 26.6C
Yesterday saw a lovely morning around Koh Samui with splendid sunny weather. Max temp reached 32.5C.
The forecast for Koh Samui is looking good, still a fair bit of wind but mainly dry and sunny.

Euro 2012 Start Today
The Football (Soccer ) Match Euro 2012 is start today, 8th June 2012.
History Of Euro :
The final tournament of the 14th UEFA European Football Championship will be held in Poland and Ukraine from 8 June to 1 July 2012. It will be the third time that the final tournament is jointly hosted by two countries (after Belgium/Netherlands in 2000 and Austria/Switzerland in 2008).
Sixteen national teams will compete in a total of 31 matches to be crowned European champions. The format of four groups of four teams will be used for the last time in this tournament. The competition format will change for the next edition in 2016 as the lineup of participants competing in the final tournament will be increased to 24.
The UEFA EURO 2012 matches will be played in eight stadiums, four in Poland – Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw, Wroclaw – and four in Ukraine – Donetsk, Lviv, Kharkiv and Kyiv. The opening match will take place in Warsaw on 8 June and the final on 1 July in Kyiv. No fewer than 1.4 million fans will be expected at the stadiums and the matches will be broadcast live in more than 200 territories around the world.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily climate update; 8th June, 2012
Today's weather at Koh Samui;
Tha Sun at koh Samui is shinning bright again, just as predicted! Current temp at 7am is 25.5C.
Yesterday saw a nice morning around our island with a tiny bit of drizzle during the afternoon.
Max temp reached 30.5C Samui held out very well during last week, there were some storms and a fair amount of rain but no flash flood happened and the island coped well. This in sharp contrast with Koh Lanta and Phi Phi and touristy parts of Phuket, mainly the Patong area.
Thai TV shows plenty of flooded areas and through friends on Facebook I saw plenty of pictures of flood problems in the mentioned areas, the two main English news papers in Thailand however don't report a sentence on any potential flood problems in Southern Thailand this morning.
The forecast is looking nice, a lot less wind, still a few waves here and there but in general I expect sunny weather for next week.

Koh Samui island, Thailand daily climate update; 7th June, 2012
Koh Samui Today's climate;
The sky over Koh Samui has overcast but it is rather bright and the sun even tried to peek at this morning.
It's a bright sky and not as dark as yesterday with a lot less wind. It still may rain later today but right now it 'feels dry'.
Current temp at 7am is 26.5C
Yesterday we saw a real good storm pass over the Koh Samui during the morning hours, after noon things started to clear up though and it remained more or less dry during the afternoon and the wind slowed down with a surprising peek of the sun just before it turned dark.
The night was dry as well. Max temp reached 26.7C
The situation on Koh Samui is completely under control, besides the rather unusual rain and hard wind. There are not floods.
Other parts in the South of Thailand between Ranong and Cumphon roads are blocked and some people were killed in Trang when a tree fell on their house.
The forecast predicts more rain and heavy wind today but as of tomorrow things should turn for the better and more sunny and dry days should be in the cards again.
Some of the strong wind may stick around though for a few more days, although not as strong as we experience currently.

Koh Samui Island, Thailand daily climate update; 6th June, 2012
Today's climate;
There's overcast on Koh Samui but a very weak sun is trying to send some beams through.
The wind is slow this morning but already picking up and it raining and wind will be ours today.
Current temperature at 7am is 24.8 C.
Yesterday i saw all day long strong wind, drizzle, rain in various orders and intensity around Koh Samui.
Strangely enough, the very late afternoon saw the sky open up and the sun peaked out briefly.
During the night it rained some more. Big waves were part of this and apparently some of the ferry schedules around Samui and other islands got interrupted.
Max temp reached 29.3C The forecast shows a better view today. Strong wind gusts with heavy waves and rain until Friday and then it eases off again with some more wind around next week Thursday.
